The USB SureSwipe Reader is a standard HID mode reader which meets the USB requirements for less than one unit load. Featuring a 3-track bi-directional dual sided magnetic reader, the SureSwipe MSR was designed specifically to read any magnetic stripe card regardless of which way the magnetic stripe is facing when swiped. With a 99.9% accuracy rate, the SureSwipe MSR ensures the card data will be read on the first swipe every time. A green/red LED indicator on the reader provides the operator with status of the reader operations.

For the Human Interface Device (HID) Software Interface, a developed or modified application is required to communicate with this device. Data will not be seen in applications such as Windows Notepad.
