LongView 1000 extenders let you place a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, microphone and serial port up to 1,000 feet away from your computer or Avocent KVM switch. This greater distance allows you to separate your users from their computer/target devices. With devices consolidated and managed from a central location, you solve some common challenges such as protecting computers from hazardous work environments and protecting computers from accidental damage or theft.
